At the forefront of performance driven glass to enhance sustainability, Glassworks are proud to have a range of the most advanced energy saving glass products with proven performance figures that are second-to-none.
Here are some figures you’ll be benchmarking and what they mean:
Visible Light Transmission (VLT): measures the percentage of natural light entering a room and visibility from the inside out
U-Value: measures how much heat is transferred through the glass. The lower the U-Value the better the insulation properties.
Solar Heat Gain Coefficient: measures how much solar radiation passes through the glass. The lower the SHGC the greater the thermal stopping power.
A low-e glass with a pioneering triple silver interlayer achieving outstanding thermal performance and clarity. Includes Neat® easy-clean technology.See more >
The lowest SHGC figure on the market of 0.18, without compromising visibility, still producing a desirable VLT of 38%See more >
The highest performing low-e glass with high clarity and no haze like the others on the market. Can be left single glazed, but performs even better as a double glazed unit. Includes Neat® easy-clean technology.See more >
A clear low-e glass with outstanding visibility and insulation.See more >
A glass which self-tints depending on the intensity of the sun, requiring no power and resulting in remarkable energy savings on airconditioning.See more >
